Who are we?
Corfe Care Ltd is a domiciliary care company which provides high quality care and support to people in their own homes. Kathy Fitch is the owner and Registered Manager of Corfe Care and she has over 15 years’ experience in the sector.
Kathy started working as a carer in 2003 and following completion of Health and Social Care qualifications, she was promoted to Care coordinator, Deputy Manager and Registered Manager.
In 2010, during her role as care coordinator, her skills were acknowledged by her manager and she was nominated for the Great South West Care Awards. Following an interview, she attended the awards ceremony and won the Home Care Coordinator Award 2011.

Qualifications: Kathy has a Level 3 award in First Line Management and in 2014 she completed a QCF (Qualification and Credit Framework) Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
Kathy is passionate about providing a high standard of care at all times and supporting people to continue to live in their own homes and achieve their individual outcomes. She believes that continuity of care and communication are key for both the people who are supported and the people providing the support.
Our Mission: To provide high quality, person centred care to individuals in Corfe Mullen, Wimborne, Broadstone and the surrounding areas. We believe that every individual should be treated with dignity and respect and will provide support that builds on strengths and promotes independence.
Our Vision: To enable people to continue to live at home and to receive high quality, person-centred care from suitably trained and caring staff.

"We met Kathy whom we knew indirectly via a family friend when we were looking for someone to care for Gary, my husband's 92 year old stepfather who lived with us in a self-contained annex. Up until this point my husband and I had cared for him ourselves but being in our 70's we were finding it increasingly difficult to manage his everyday needs and not wanting him to go into a home had decided to get daily help. Kathy had just set up her own buisness and we met to talk over the the type of care we needed. Kathy took time to explain the types of care and services that she could provide alongside any input that we still wanted to do ourselves. With her help we came up with a plan that suited us all, including Gary who because of Kathy's friendly nature warmed to her straight away. As always there was ample form filling to go through, but once that was done everything we needed to know was explained fully including costs, timings etc. so we knew exactly what we could expect from the care package. Sadly Gary passed away peacefully after receiving the best care he could possibly have had and we are indebted to Kathy for her time, care and help whilst she worked with us all."
